Q:What are the different forms of dance that I can perform? A:You can perfrom in Classical, Semi Classical, Bollywood (Movie), Folk, Fusion, Medley, etc., to show your talent.
Q:How can I become Indian Dance Idol? A:Selected contestants can perform in one or more dance forms like Classical, Semi Classical, Bollywood, Folk, Fusion, Medley, etc,. The performance should be limited to 1 to 2 minutes for any dance form. The best dancer will be crowned Indian Dance Idol Jr/Sr.
Q:How can we participate in IDC? A:Send in your application, audition video and participation fee and if you are selected you will be notified by e-mail and/or phone.
Q:What should be in the audition video? A:Include introduction where you say your name, age, what you will be performing, etc and your performance of 2 minutes.
Q:Is there an age limit for the competition? A:There is no age limit. We have three groups. 1) Below 12 years, 2) Above 12 years (as of the date of performance) and 3)Parents.
Q:What should the1 minute introduction on the audition video include? A:Try to keep your introduction to less than 1 minute, but make sure at the least you include your name, age, where you are from, what your are performing to, etc.
